Allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) said on Friday that they will increase support but will not grant Ukraine’s request for the implementation of no-fly zones. “We are not part of this conflict, and we have a responsibility to ensure it does not escalate and spread beyond Ukraine,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told a news conference. On Friday, the UN Human Rights Council overwhelmingly voted to create a “high-level investigation” into human rights violations committed following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
