Officials said that Russian troops had begun shelling the facility, which is Europe’s largest nuclear power station. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ukraine’s regulator said there has been no change reported in radiation levels at the station and “essential” equipment was not impacted. US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson both spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the situation.
