Eastern MD combat aviation to participate in the Wings of Sakhalin festival

Pilots of ten jets of the Eastern MD Air Force and Air Defence formation will participate in the Wings of Sakhalin festival, which is held at the Pushisty airfield.

Two Su-35S, two Su-27Sm, two Su-24M2 and four Su-25SM will perform a flypast in the sky over Sakhalin on August 29.

The demonstration flight will be also performed over Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in the course of events devoted to the 70th anniversary of the World War II end on September 2.

Moreover, crews of Mi-8AMTSh are also supposed to take part in flypast over the Sakhalin Island on August 29 and September 2.
