Today the Northern Fleet ship formation finished its task performance at the Novaya Zemlya archipelago and headed to the Kola Bay to the permanent base.

The day before, the servicemen of the Arctic Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Northern Fleet, who had participated in the counter-terrorist exercise at the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, loaded the military hardware on the major landing ships Georgy Pobedonosets and Kondopoga.

In the nearest time, the ship formation led by the major ASW ship Severomorsk will pass through the Barents Sea to the water zone of the Kola Bay.

The Arctic cruise of the seamen from the Northern Fleet has been continuing for over 50 days. The crews have performed a number of tasks in the Arctic – in the Yenisei Bay, the Kara Sea, the Laptev Sea and a number of archipelagoes.
