Meeting of the Small Group of the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL in Brussels, Belgium

Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL General John Allen and Deputy Special Presidential Envoy Brett McGurk will travel to Brussels, Belgium for a meeting with key members of the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL on November 4. This meeting will be at the political director-level and will be an opportunity for General Allen to discuss current priorities with the Coalition and review Coalition operations and progress in line with the counter-ISIL strategy in Iraq and Syria. This is one of a series of Coalition meetings, the last of which took place in September on the margins of UNGA in New York as part of the larger C-ISIL/CVE Summit hosted by President Obama.
