Eastern MD received brigade tactical missile complex Iskander-M

Missile formation of the Eastern MD located in Buryatia returned to the permanent base from a range in the Astrakhan Region having received a brigade tactical missile complex Iskander-M.

In the course of a half a year, the military personnel of the formation has passed theoretical and practical training courses for Iskander-M missile complexes. After practice, the crews performed combat and electronic launches of cruise and ballistic missiles as well as carried out a combined march to the permanent location in the Republic of Buryatia.

This is the second batch of brigade tactical missile complexes delivered to the Eastern MD. The first one has been operated since 2013 by the missile formation located in the Jewish Autonomous Region.
