Dmitry Medvedev expresses his condolences to French Prime Minister Manuel Valls on the loss of life following a series of terrorist attacks in Paris

Dear Mr Prime Minister, on behalf of the Russian Government and personally, I would like to express our deepest condolences on the numerous victims of the terror attacks.

We share the pain and grief of the people of France. There is no and there can be no justification for acts of terror. The tragedy in Paris is a call for all of us to unite in our fight against extremism, to respond to terror attacks firmly and decisively.

Please convey our sympathy and support to the deceased victims’ families and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
