U.S.-Nordic-Baltic Political-Military Dialogue

Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Todd Chapman led the U.S. delegation for the second meeting of the U.S.-Nordic-Baltic Political-Military Dialogue on November 24, 2015 at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.

The forum brought together senior officials from the defense and foreign affairs ministries of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, and the United States to discuss global challenges of mutual concern. Discussions focused on air, maritime, and land border security, as well as our cooperation on coalition operations to counter ISIL and promote security in Afghanistan.
