Strategic Airlift Capability Supports Exercise Dagger Resolve with Airdrop of Heavy Vehicles

On 7 December, a Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) C-17 cargo jet carried out an airdrop of heavy engineer equipment in support of exercise Dagger Resolve. At the request of SAC member nation the United States, a heavy-duty dump truck and a bulldozer from the 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade were transported to Hohenfels Training Area Drop Zone in Germany.
TRIDENT JET Exercise Concludes at AIRCOM

Exercise TRIDENT JET ended Dec. 11, completing the final training for Headquarters NATO Allied Air Command (AIRCOM) to serve as a joint headquarters. The exercise ran Dec. 7 -11, providing senior leader and battle staff training in AIRCOM’s first vignette-based joint headquarters assessment.
JFC NAPLES Commander Meets KFOR Service Members

Joint Force Command – Naples Commander, U.S. Navy Admiral Mark E. Ferguson III, was welcomed at KFOR HQ, Pristina, by Kosovo Force Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta for a visit to receive a comprehensive briefing on KFOR’s activities and on the latest developments in the current security situation in Kosovo as well as the wider Balkans region.
