  Regional seminar on Dangerous Offenders

  YEREVAN,  19-20 JANUARY 2016,

  The European Committee on Crime Problems will hold a regional seminar aimed at raising awareness among legal professionals and law enforcement to the Committee of Ministers’ Recommendation concerning dangerous offenders and how to deal with them in line with the international and Council of Europe’s standards. Representatives from 16 European countries (Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovak Republic, “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”, Turkey, Ukraine) will be taking part in the event. The seminar is open to the media.

  Three CoE/EU Joint Projects launched in sport

  STRASBOURG,  21 JANUARY 2016 (PALAIS DE L’EUROPE, 12.30 PM – 2 PM),

  The Council of Europe and the European Union will launch three new joint projects in the field of sport in 2016: two under the Erasmus+ programme and one on “New integrated mechanisms for co-operation between public and private actors to identify sports betting risks”. The launching event will take place at the Palais de l’Europe from 12.30 pm to 2pm.
