Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu ordered to meet the schedule on delivering aviation hardware to the Russian Armed Forces

 

In the course of his working trip to the Central MD, Head of the military department with his deputies General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov, Yuri Borisov, Nikolay Pankov and Alexei Dumin also visited the “Irkut” corporation in order to inspect State Defence Order implementation.

Having inspected the work sections of the corporation, the Head of the defence department held a session with participation of leadership of the Joint Aviation Corporation and “Irkut” company.

During the session, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu paid special attention to necessity of meeting the schedule on delivering aviation hardware to the forces as well as quality of the products for the Armed Forces.eeting the schedule on delivering aviation hardware to the forces as well as quality of the products for the Armed Forces.

The Defence Minister also inspected the Belaya long-range aviation regiment in Irkutsk region, where he listened to reports of the long-range aviation Commander Lieutenant General Anatoly Zhikharev about combat training process of the formation and technical situation of the aircraft.

In the course of the working session with participation of Defence Minister’s deputies, Commander of the Aerospace Forces Colonel General Victor Bondarev and the long-range aviation Commander Lieutenant General Anatoly Zhikharev, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu ordered to realize all activities of the airfield prospective development in 2016.
