Single day of military production acceptance held under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces in the National Centre for State Defence Control

 Today a single day of acceptance of military production, military and social facilities was held under the leadership of the President of the Russian Federation – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces Vladimir Putin in the National Centre for State Defence Control.

Vladimir Putin listened to reports of the leadership of the Russian military department, defence industrial complex companies, commanders of military units and formations about receiving modern hardware and armament, results of constructing facilities of military and social infrastructure of the Russian Army in 2015, and implementation process of the State Defence Order in first quarter of 2016.

Representatives of federal executive and legislative power bodies, heads of state corporations and leadership of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation took part in the session.

Opening the event, Vladimir Putin stressed that the enterprises of the industry in common fulfilled their obligations . Most of the military hardware was delivered on time.

“In total, at the end of 2015, the troops received about 4000 main prospective models of arms and military equipment, determining the image of the modern Armed Forces,” said the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

Vladimir Putin noted that new models were already in active use, tested by troops and units during combat readiness inspections, exercises,and trainings.

In 2015, it was delivered more than 1,000 armored vehicles, 300 units of anti-aircraft missile complexes and systems, more than 3,400 automotive vehicles, 22,000 pieces of communication, more than 650 sets of electronic warfare, 2 brigade sets of Iskander missile system in the interests of the Army.

The Aerospace forces received more than 230 aircraft, 158 helicopters, 191 radar, 4 divisional sets of S-400, more than 35,000 aircraft weapons, 9 units of launch vehicles and spacecraft.

In the interests of the Navy there were delivered 4 warships, 4 submarines, 52 auxiliary ships and vessels, 2 Bastion missile complexes, 27 naval aircraft, 45 units of missile and artillery weapons.

The Airborne Troops received 114 units of armored vehicles, 2 sets of divisional anti-aircraft missile system Verba, 11,000 means of landing.

The Strategic Missile Forces received 21 strategic ballistic missiles, 386 units and components of mobile and stationary missile complexes.

All adopted equipment has been tested and is ready for use.

Production program 2016 takes into account the priorities of building military infrastructure and the economic realities.
