U.S.-China Consular Dialogue: Protecting our Citizens and Facilitating Travel

Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Michele Thoren Bond will participate in a bilateral Consular Dialogue hosted by the Government of the People’s Republic of China on April 12, 2016, in Beijing. The Chinese delegation will be led by Mr. Guo Shaochun, Director General of the Department of Consular Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Consular Dialogue will focus on efforts to protect citizens and to facilitate legitimate travel, and will highlight the valuable economic and cultural interaction between our two countries.
