Within last 24 hours, truce agreements with representatives of 2 inhabited areas Aleppo have been achieved.

The total number of settlements, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 85.

Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been held with a field commander of an armed opposition detachment active in the Homs province.

The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 52.

Results of ceasefire monitoring

Ceasefire regime has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 5 ceasefire violations have been registered in Aleppo.

Militants of Ahrar al-Sham carried out mortar shelling against al-Muhafaza and al-Zagra city sectors. Militants of Jaysh al-Islam performed 3 shellings with multiple launch rocket systems against al-Khalidiyah city sector.

Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.

Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria

Balas (Aleppo province) and Muaddamiye (Damascus province) have received 3.5 tons of humanitarian cargos.

Medical workers of the Centre for reconciliation have provided medical assistance to 42 civilians.

Humanitarian convoys to citizens of two inhabited areas of the Hama and Homs provinces are being formed.

Additional information

“Silence regime” established in Eastern Ghuta and northern regions of the Latakia province on April 30 has been observed.

“Silence regime” has been extended by 24 hours (until 12 a.m. May 1) under agreement with Syrian government and American partners.

Active work on establishing ceasefire regime in the Aleppo province is continued.

In al-Qaryatayn (Homs province), Syrian repair brigades have cleaned 80 meters of streets from obstructions, and recovered 100 meters of electricity transmitting lines. Syrian sappers have defused 5 demolition bombs.

Militants of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist grouping carried out mortar shelling against Sheikh Maqsood city sector and Handrat.

Moreover, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist grouping took efforts to capture Ain Dakna and Minnik in order to control highway connecting Azaz and Aleppo. Having suffered losses, terrorists retreated to positions, which they had kept before.
