Latvian Minister of Defence visits ACT

Latvian Minister of Defence Mr. Raimonds Bergmanis receives an official greeting from Allied Command Transformation senior staff prior to meeting with Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Adm. Manfred Nielson on May 18.

During the visit the two leaders discussed items including Allied Command Transformation’s focus areas and preparations for the Warsaw Summit in July. Visits of this nature are common and provide opportunities for NATO leaders to discuss mission requirements and issues facing the Alliance.
