
“Brilliant Jump DeployEx, will demonstrate a capable NATO Very High Readiness Joint Task Force deploying within a few days to Poland by air, sea and land, with the crucial support provided by Multinational Corps Northeast and the NATO Force Integration Unit in Poland”, General Salvatore Farina, Commander Joint Force Command Brunssum, the Officer conducting the exercise, stated.
The exercise will involve approximately 1,500 personnel from Albania, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom and is aiming to train the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) to deploy quickly to an assigned area of operations following the activation of the NATO Response Force (NRF).
Brilliant Jump 2016 DeployEx is conducted starting in Wroclaw and Szczecin relocating the troops from their permanent bases to the designated ports and airports of embarkation and on their way to the assigned training area in Zagan in Poland.
