German travelling exhibition on the energy transition to start its world tour in China

Foreign Minister Steinmeier opened a travelling exhibition on Germany’s Energiewende, the transformation of the country’s energy system, in Beijing on Friday (8 April). Germany’s energy policy is a subject of great interest around the world. With its decision to increase energy efficiency, expand renewable energies and phase out nuclear energy, Germany has gained global respect as a pioneer.
