Federal Foreign Office: “Foreign Minister Steinmeier condemns attack in Istanbul”

A Federal Foreign Office Spokesperson issued the following statement today (7 June) on the attack in Istanbul:

“Foreign Minister Steinmeier condemns the brutal attack in Istanbul in the strongest possible terms. The fact that Turkey must once again mourn the victims of a terrorist crime is shocking. Our thoughts are with our Turkish friends at this difficult time, and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families and friends of the victims.”
