United States and Cuba To Hold First Counterterrorism Technical Exchange in Havana, Cuba

The United States and Cuba will hold the first Counterterrorism Technical Exchange in Havana, Cuba on June 8. The U.S. delegation will include working-level representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI), and the Department of State.

Coordination and cooperation on counterterrorism has been one of several important topics discussed in law enforcement dialogues between the United States and Cuba. We welcome the opportunity to bring together technical experts to discuss this topic of common interest.
