At the ARMY-2016 Forum Directorate of military representative offices of the Russian Defence Ministry to confirm high quality of military hardware introduced in the Russian Armed Forces
Directorate of military representative offices of the Russian Defence Ministry is to present exposition demonstrating structure and main tasks of the Directorate, and the history of military quality control system at the II International military and technical forum.
The Directorate is working with companies of defence industrial complex on their participation in expositions of the Forum, where the institute of military representatives is playing key role in organizing cooperation between military control bodies and industrial companies.
International format of the Forum ARMY-2016 and high interest of foreign gusts in Russian military hardware is the evidence of total control of the armament and weapon quality controlled by the Directorate.
The Directorate is to discuss issues of optimization of measure complex connected with raising exploitation and reliability characteristics of the armament.
“Hardware, which is to be demonstrated at the Forum, has been followed by military representatives. That is why it is reliable,” said Chief of Directorate of military representative offices of the Russian Defence Ministry Colonel Oleg Stepanov.

Dynamic demonstration of capabilities of the Russian armament to take place in four military districts and at the Northern Fleet within the ARMY-2016 Forum
Dynamic demonstration of capabilities of the Russian armament in four military districts and at the Northern Fleet will become one of the main features of the International military and technical forum ARMY-2016.
Therefore, demonstration of running and firing capabilities of more than 100 pieces of armament, military and special hardware of the Russian Defence Ministry and advanced developments of industrial companies will take place in the Western MD in the territory of the Alabino range, Kubinka airfield, and Komsomolskoye lake.
Saint Petersburg and Kronstadt will host dynamic demonstration of modern samples of armament, military and special hardware of the Russian Navy for participants of the ARMY-2016 Forum.
The Southern MD is preparing for demonstrating samples of armament, military and special hardware, which its military units and formations are equipped with. The demonstration is taking place at a range in the Rostov Region.
Visitors of the Forum in the Central MD will have an opportunity to watch different modifications of Tigr armored vehicles, BTR-82AM APCs, Krasuha electronic warfare complexes and more at the Yurga range (Kemerovo Region) and Roshinsky range (Samara Region).
The Eastern MD is organizing dynamic demonstration of armament and hardware of the Pacific Fleet in Vladivostok and Russky Island.
The Northern Fleet will host three clusters in order to demonstrate aerial hardware of the Air Force and Air Defence in the territory of the military airfield. Demonstration of maneuvering actions of the Russian Navy warships and vessels will be held in the water zone of Severomorsk.

Today, the 70th session of the CIS Defence Ministers chaired by the Head of the Russian military department has been held in Moscow.
Delegations from Defence Ministries of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia took part in the session.
In his opening speech, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu stated that international terrorism was the main threat for the world. According to him, it is necessary to expand military cooperation in these conditions.
General of the Army Sergei Shoigu expressed his confidence that the session would promote all-round strengthening of the partnership in order to counter modern threats and challenges taking into account national interests and joint priorities of the CIS member states.
In accordance to the agenda, the session participants discussed issues of interaction between the CIS defence departments in military field.
Decisions, which had been made in course of the session, are aimed at development of multilateral military cooperation system in the CIS format and will promote mutual partnership development in military field based on common, regional and national interests.
The 70th session of the CIS Defence Ministers was held in a constructive and business-like manner.
