Brexit: The immigrants who voted Leave – BBC News

Many would assume that those who had migrated to the UK would support others being able to do so and therefore vote Remain. It’s not as simple as that. According to polling, two-thirds (67%) of those describing themselves as Asian voted to remain, as did three-quarters (73%) of black voters. Toni who came to the UK in 1979, tells the BBC what motivated him to vote to leave the EU. Meanwhile Takyiwa, who voted to remain, explains why she thinks immigrants who voted like Toni are hypocrites.
