BEIJING, July 1 (ChinaMil) — The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) started using new military ID cards formally from July 1, 2016. The PLA’s new military ID cards include the military officer ID card, the civilian cadre ID card, the compulsory soldier ID card, the noncommissioned officer ID card, the civilian personnel ID card, and the civilian employee ID card.

China will not flaunt military power: Xi

China will not resort to the threat of force at will, nor will it “flaunt its military power on others’ doorsteps at the drop of a hat,” said Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the CPC.
