U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel to Nicosia, Cyprus, on October 11, to meet with Republic of Cyprus officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues. She will also meet with Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders and UN Special Advisor Eide to convey continued U.S. support for a fair and lasting settlement of the Cyprus problem through the process facilitated by the UN Secretary-General’s Good Offices Mission.
