Status of the Fleet: USS Carney in Villefranche sur Mer, France

VILLEFRANCHE SUR MER, France (Jan. 20, 2017) – A reception was held aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) in Villefranche sur Mer, France to enhance U.S.-France relations and participate in commemorative events honoring 50th anniversary of the years during the 1950’s and 1960’s during which the U.S. 6th Fleet was based in Villefranche sur Mer, France.
