EUROPOL: Consolidated Annual Activity Report (CAAR) 2017

The Consolidated Annual Activity Report (CAAR) 2017 covers the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017 and presents the progress made to achieve the objectives deriving from the Europol Strategy and the 2017 Annual Work Programme. An overview of the budget implementation and human resources management, audit and risk management activities and the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control system are also included in this report.

It has been prepared following the EU Commission’s template and it is submitted on behalf of the Executive Director of Europol to the Management Board for adoption, in accordance with article 16 (5)(g) of the Europol Regulation and article 47 of the Financial Regulation applicable to Europol.

According to article 11 (1)(c) of the Europol Regulation, this report has been adopted by the Management Board who submitted it to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission, the Court of Auditors and the national parliaments.
