WHISTLER – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister Olaf Scholz of Germany. Secretary Mnuchin and Vice Chancellor Scholz discussed issues involving the European community, and bilateral economic relations between the United States and Germany. The Secretary and Vice Chancellor also discussed ongoing issues in the Indo-Pacific region, including those pertaining to Iran and North Korea.
