DISA and JFHQ-DODIN fight hunger, donate 6,246 pounds of goods to local communities

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Joint Force Headquarters – DOD Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN) surpassed all expectations while participating in the 2018 Feds Feed Families (FFF) campaign — collecting and donating a total of 6,246 pounds of food.

FFF is a nationwide campaign created by the United States Department of Agriculture to help food banks and pantries stay stocked during the time of year when they traditionally see a decrease in donations coupled with an increased need.

“I am very proud and thankful we were able to come together to help those who need it most,” said Katie Woodall, DISA’s 2018 FFF campaign chair.
