A DELEGATION OF THE ROMANIAN MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, HEADED BY BRIGADIER GENERAL LEONARDU DINU, VISITS SATCEN

On 8 October 2019, a Delegation of the Romanian Ministry of Defence, headed by Brigadier General Leonardu Dinu, visited SatCen and was briefed on the Centre’s activities.

They were welcomed by SatCen Director Amb. Sorin Ducaru and Deputy Director Giuseppe D’Amico who, together with other SatCen managers, presented the Centre’s operational and capability development activities. The discussion also covered the Centre’s strategic development perspective.

The delegation provided a briefing on the security situation in the Black Sea Region and the Western Balkans, and the visit concluded with a short meeting with the Centre’s Romanian staff members.

Brigadier General Leonardu Dinu has been Deputy Chief at the Romanian Military Intelligence Directorate since 2017.
