A statewide ‘Be on the Lookout’ (BOLO) alert was issued in Michigan on Friday for the parents of the 15-year-old suspect in the Oxford High School shooting that took place on November 30. The parents were charged with involuntary manslaughter just hours before, per The Associated Press. Early Saturday morning, the pair were taken into custody after being found by police inside the basement of a building in Detroit, according to local news outlets. Local law enforcement confirmed the parents met with school officials about their son’s behavior and mental health just hours before the fatal shooting, which left four students dead and seven injured, according to the Associated Press.
