British News Agency News247WorldPress presents one of the best places where business is welcome. Calarasi County, Romania

On the way to the Black Sea, the Danube to Constanta and down the Danube Delta, Borcea Branch is the hunt and the life of Calarasi.

Here you can find fine sands, gravel and protected areas, the border with Bulgaria, wonderful places of camping and much more. I wrote for those who want to study nature and enjoy it, but the serious things, namely investments and jobs are for the brave and serious people.

The President of the Calarasi County Council is a proponent of investments and encourages this fact, for which we were pleasantly impressed by the opening and prioritization of businesses in the county.

What did we find? A county in the middle of the distance to all directions, with immaculate roads that get you rid of the congestion of the highway, farmland and tidy, naval transport and exploitation of the best quality gravel pit, heavy industry, people willing to work for a normal life.

The hydrographic network is dominated by the Danube River which limits to the south and south-east the county’s territory. The Danube wets the county’s territory on a distance of 150 km, from the upstream of the Cascioarele to the Fetesti-Cernavoda railway from Balta Borcei. In front of chiciu point (located at a distance of 8 km upstream of Calarasi), the Danube splits into two arms: Borcea, on the left and the old Danube, on the right, which delimits Calarasi county from Constanta county. Between the two arms, which close between them Balta Borcei, there is a direct connection through the Bala arm, which plays an important role in terms of distribution of flows on the two arms.

Industry

The county’s industry is profiled, for the most part, on processing activities. Branches of the food industry are present; the textile manufacturing industry; pulp, paper and cardboard industry; building materials industry; shipbuilding; Metallurgical; metal constructions.

Within the processing industry, the share is held by the food industry which, in 2003, contributed with over 46% to the industrial production of the county. It follows, in order, the textile garment industry (about 30% of the total industrial production), the pulp and paper industry (over 6%), the building materials industry (over 3%), the chemical industry (over 2%), the metallurgical industry (over 1%). https://www.calarasi.ro/
