Prime Minister @rishisunakhas a plan to drive down anti-social behaviour and make our streets safer – and it’s working.

The next stage of the plan

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visits Kilburn Police Station where he met with Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley and other serving officers.

We’re backing every police force in England and Wales with at least £1 million in funding to ramp up patrols.

This could mean up to 900,000 hours of patrols tackling violence and disorder – the equivalent of up to 540 extra visible police officers in these hotspot areas.

That’s on top of what we’ve already achieved in our ten ASB pilot areas:

Over 80,000 hours of patrols in the six months since the pilots launched Reports of drops in ASB of up to 36% in some areas Close to 1,500 stop and searches and nearly 600 arrests

Since 2010, we’ve made big strides – we’ve recruited 20,000 more police officers and cut crime by more than half. We know there’s more to do but this Government’s plan is working.
