In the face of regional changes, war on borders and internal problems, countries alone must have a choice. Moldova is one of the countries with difficult choices, with great problems of survival and miraculously it has not yet been divided by the powerful of the time.

For a long time, Moldova’s population harbored confused feelings toward its neighbors. Romania, which provides considerable support, grants citizenship to accelerate integration into the European space and education through scholarships and other facilities.
The fact that the economy is sensitive and requires an infusion of capital has made citizens first interested in their own income and leave to others the policy of integration or neutrality.
Diplomatic efforts are incommensurable in the current context. In peacetime there was time for long talk, and no one wanted a quick integration to the West, preferring the economic market in the East.
A country with respect for family, values and potential is not understood by Westerners because cultures and way of life are different.
Smiles and shakes of hands. Very tiring trips between Western chancelleries just to take the place of integration, but is it the agenda of the whole country or just one term as president?
Each political option has closed the door to the West and opened the East, closed the door to a possible union with Romania or other hypotheses, but Moldova is a country with values and love for it, but it is not enough for constant crises and dangers.
From now on can we bet on integration or just hope?
