The activity of Prof. #KlausMainzer, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, is awarded the “Dimitrie Cantemir” medal by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova

The Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova decided to award the “Dimitrie Cantemir” medal to Professor Klaus Mainzer, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts based in Salzburg, for outstanding contributions to the development of science, collaboration with researchers from the Republic of Moldova, support in the process of training staff, as well as for the presentation of public lectures of national interest.

Prof. Klaus Mainzer has been collaborating with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova for several years. On June 10, 2021, during the Science Week dedicated to the 60th Anniversary of the Academy, he gave the public lecture “Artificial intelligence: present status and future prospects” (see link https://asm.md/en/node/766 )
