
On December 19, 2024, during the visit to the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Professor Klaus MAINZER, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA) based in Salzburg, Austria, will hold the public lecture “Artificial Intelligence in Science and Education” at 13.00. The event is organized in a mixed format, with physical presence in the Small Hall of the ASM (1 Stefan cel Mare and Sfânt Blvd.) and online on the ZOOM platform.

Although this is his first visit to the Republic of Moldova, we mention that Prof. Klaus Mainzer has been collaborating with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova for several years. For outstanding contributions to the development of science, collaboration with researchers from the Republic of Moldova, support in the process of training staff, as well as for supporting public lectures of national interest, the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences decided to award Prof. Klaus Mainzer the “Dimitrie Cantemir” medal. The high academic distinction will be handed over to the President of EASA during the event for the totalization of the scientific year 2024, which will take place on December 19 this year in the Azurie Hall of the ASM, starting at 14.00.
