#BREAKING: Channel 10 officials have this morning confirmed that The Project will come to an end after a 16-year run on-air.

The beloved news & current affairs show began its life as The 7PM Project in 2009, featuring an initial panel of Carrie Bickmore, Charlie Pickering, and Dave Hughes. Throughout its lifespan, The Project featured a who’s-who list of hosts and panelists, most recently including Waleed Aly, Sarah Harris, Hamish Macdonald, Georgie Tunny, Sam Taunton, Susie Youssef, and Rove McManus. The Project’s final episode is set to go to air on June 27.
