NATO chief urges allies to prepare for “long-term confrontation” with Russia

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned that Russia remains a destabilizing force in Europe and beyond.

Speaking at a defense industry forum in Romania, Rutte said that member states of the Alliance “must not be naive”

about Moscow’s intentions

“We must also be ready,” he emphasized, calling for sustained defense investment and stronger coordination among NATO countries.
