Moldova: The Specialized International Exhibition ‘INFOINVENT 2025’ has returned in physical format with over 400 inventions, innovative projects, and creative products

From December 3–5, at the “Moldexpo” International Exhibition Center, the Specialized International Exhibition “INFOINVENT 2025” took place, an event that, after two consecutive editions held online, returned in physical format with over 400 inventions, innovative projects, and creative products from Moldova, Romania, and other participating countries.

The official opening of the 19th edition of the Exhibition brought together representatives of public institutions, the academic environment, international partners, and the research community. The event was inaugurated by Natalia MOGOL, Deputy General Director of AGEPI, who emphasized the role of the exhibition in promoting innovation, creativity, and collaboration between national and international institutions. Present at the event, the Minister of Culture, Cristian JARDAN, highlighted the essential role of creativity in the development of society.

The President of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Acad. Ion TIGHINEANU, in his capacity as chairman of the jury, spoke about the high level of the works presented this year and about the need for young researchers to be encouraged, supported, and connected to international research ecosystems.
Starting from the necessity of integrating research into a multidisciplinary approach, the President of ASM highlighted the strategic direction promoted within the framework of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development.

“Currently, interdisciplinary projects are prioritized. We need to collaborate, to create communities that, through joint efforts, can provide solutions not just for a specific locality, but for the entire region,” said the president of ASM, also referring to the new challenges brought by rapid technological developments, especially artificial intelligence. Acad. Ion Tighineanu mentioned that it brings many benefits, but also many challenges. In this context, it is essential to make efforts to identify the risks and find solutions.
