From June 22–26, 2026, the Summer School “The Path to Scientific Discoveries” will take place at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. The event is intended for students and pupils passionate about science and technology and is organized with the aim of promoting scientific research, as well as demonstrating the impact of science and innovations on everyday life and social well-being.
The Summer School program includes lectures from various fields, such as medicine, engineering, artificial intelligence, economic sciences, and legal sciences. Among the speakers will be acad. Marius Andruh, President of the Romanian Academy; acad. Ioan-Aurel Pop, President of the Romanian Academic Council (CAR); prof. Bogdan Ciucă, President of the Academy of Legal Sciences of Romania; Prof. Kornelius Nielsch, IFW Dresden, Germany; prof. Emanuel Flahaut, CNRS, France; acad. Isaac Bersuker, University of Texas, USA; prof. Grigore Tinică, Iași, Romania; Jeffrey N. Williams, NASA astronaut, as well as other internationally renowned experts.
The lectures within the Summer School will be held in Romanian and English. Although the event will take place in a hybrid format, the number of in-person spots is limited, and participants will be selected based on their level of English proficiency and the motivation presented in the registration form. Interested individuals are invited to complete the online form by June 10, 2026.
This event represents an excellent opportunity for active, creative students who are eager to acquire new knowledge, offering them the chance to make an exciting foray into the world of science. Interacting with researchers from different fields, as well as with young people from various educational institutions, will help participants gain a deeper understanding of both the concepts and the mysteries of science, constituting an important step toward consciously choosing a future career in research.

The summer school is organized by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in cooperation with the Romanian Academy and the Romanian Academic Council, Technical University of Moldova, Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Alecu Russo State University of Bălți, A.O. InfoGroup, and A.O. Youth Academy of Moldova.
