Artillerymen of the Central MD performed training firing tasks at nighttime in Orenburg region.
The crews operated Grad and Uragan MLRS, MSTA-S and MSTA-B howitzers, Hosta self-propelled artillery guns and fired at targets located at the distance of 10-14 kilometres.
The artillery was coordinated by crews of the Orlan-10 UAVs, AZK-7 automated soundranging reconnaissance complexes, and SNAR-10 Leopard radar stations.
The firing took place at the Totsky range. More than 1,500 servicemen and 400 pieces of artillery and military hardware were involved in the event.
