Operational special exercise started in the Strategic Missile Forces

Forces and troops of the Joint system of detection and assessment of scale and consequences of the nuclear weapon use are taking part in the operational special exercise.

All NBC protection units of the SMF, including more than 1,200 servicemen and about 200 pieces of special hardware, are involved in the exercise.

The servicemen will perform a large number of training tasks and more than 30 exercise scenarios, including counteracting terrorism.

Control posts of the Joint System, operational groups of the missile formations, alert duties, servicemen of the NBC protection units with standard armament and hardware are involved in the special operational exercise.
