Over 40 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces are redeployed at operational airfields within the exercise “Combat commonwealth – 2015”

Over 40 aircraft of fighter, bomber, attack and long range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces redeployed at operational airfields within the exercise “Combat commonwealth – 2015” held among the CIS member-states.

Crews of Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, Su-34fighter-bombers, Su-30SM multirole fighters as well as MiG-31BM, Su-25SM, Su-24MR, Su-27, MiG-29SMT aircraft are involved in the exercise.

In the course of the exercise, pilots will repel a massive missile and aerial attack and will overcome the air defence system of imaginary enemy launching missiles and bombs during combat firings.

The exercise involves crews of air units from the Western and Southern MDs.
