Today the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu awarded distinguished participants of the Combat Commonwealth – 2015 joint exercise with special gifts.
Officers of the Armed Forces of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kirgizia and Tajikistan received the gifts.
Speaking at the awarding ceremony, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu noted that the involved crews demonstrated their cooperation and excellent professional skills.
The Russian Defence Minister also stressed that the exercise demonstrated effectiveness of combat use of modern air defence means, fighter, attack and bombing aviation.
Defence Ministers of Armenia and Belarus and representatives of Kirgizia and Tajikistan also awarded valuable gifts to the exercise participants.
