Central MD fighter pilots practiced escorting of strategic bombers within the Center-2015 exercise

Crews of Fighter Regiment of the Central MD escorted strategic bombers Tu-160 White swan and intercepted aerial targets of imaginary enemy.

It took the pilots less than five minutes to take MiG-31BM in the air. During the flight they received the necessary data on coordinates of the long-range bombers and then – on the enemy targets.

Each pair of fighters practiced one by one escorting of Tu-160s and enemy interception at long distances.
