Grouping of strategic nuclear submarines of the Russian Navy in the Pacific Ocean will be maintained and developed

Today a ceremony devoted to the arrival of the newest strategic nuclear submarine Alexander Nevsky in Vilyuchinsk has taken place.

It was attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Viktor Chirkov.

Giving speech before the servicemen he emphasized that the Main Command of the Russian Navy paid great attention to the maintaining and development of the of the grouping of strategic nuclear submarines of the Russian Navy in the Pacific Ocean.

Viktor Chirkov explained that the naval nuclear forces continued successful tasks performance at sea and in the permanent bases within the strategic nuclear deterrence.
