In the course of the command-and-staff exercise of the Yoshkar-Ola missile formation held under the leadership of the SMF Commander Colonel-General Sergei Karakaev, missile regiments equipped with land-based mobile missile systems Topol have arrived to the deployment area.
During night marches, the servicemen practiced antisabotage defence.
The exercise involves about 3 000 servicemen and over 200 pieces of military hardware.
In the course of the training activities, a wide range of tasks will be accomplished including maneuvering on routes, countering imaginary enemy precision weapons under the conditions of strong jamming environment.
It is planned to use aviation units during the exercise.
