Egyptian and Chinese officers attended the tactical exercise with the airborne battalion of the Ivanovo Airborne Formation held in Kostroma and Yaroslavl Regions.
The training activities included combat firing and crossing of water obstacles.
Coherent and dynamic actions of the Airborne as well as high level of their professionalism deeply impressed the foreign visitors.
In Yaroslavl, the Egyptian and Chinese officers laid flowers to the memorial of the legendary military commander General of the Army Vasily Margelov –the man who stood at the origins of the Airborne Troops of the USSR.
On October 1, the military delegations from Egypt and China departed from Yaroslavl to Moscow.
