Airborne Troops to receive newest portable AA missile systems Verba

By the end of the year, air defence elements of the Airborne Troops located in Pskov and Tula will have received 2 newest portable AA missile complexes Verba.

Along with the new AA systems, the military units will also receive compact short-range radar detectors and contemporary automated reconnaissance means.

The new armament and military hardware is delivered according to the State Defence Order.

By the end of 2015, about 50% of hardware will be replaced by new one in the air defence units of the Airborne Troops.
