The migratory, terrorist and health crises have got the better of the Schengen area of free movement. Admittedly, Emmanuel Macron, supported by the European Commission, has made his reform one of the priorities of the French presidency of the Council of the Union , but this is not to return to the original project of an area without internal borders. : it is actually a question of recording their return.
